Harpist • Composer • Teacher

Music that soothes, moves, and creates atmosphere — at concerts, events, and in work with children and adults.

Short Biography

Luiza Harasim‑Grzelka

I have been fascinated by sound ever since I was a child. The sound of the harp, in particular, has the power to soothe and evoke emotions. I hold a Master of Arts degree and am a graduate of the Academy of Music, where I studied under Prof. Katarzyna Staniewicz-Wasiółka. I also studied in Paris. I have taken part in numerous competitions both in Poland and abroad. I have won several of them, including in France. I combine my musical education with art therapy and teaching. I play, teach and compose music that helps you pause for a moment and feel a heavenly atmosphere

Education

THIS IS NOT ALL
  • I compose lullabies and songs accompanied by the harp.
  • I recorded a CD „Greensleeves”, showcasing the possibilities of the Celtic harp — enriched with vocal, violin, percussion and simple flute.
  • I performed the role of harpist at the Śląski Theatre named after Stanisław Wyspiański in Katowice.
  • I taught harp playing among others at the Warsaw Music School of the first degree Missio Musica. For years I have been giving private lessons, both online and in person.
  • I recorded for Polish Radio and TV in Warsaw as well as for folkloric and contemporary groups (including Christian ones).
The fairy tale ‘Little King David’

I wrote an original fairy tale about the creation of the harp and the first constructor‑music therapist. I often read it during instrument presentations — especially when the concert has the form of a meeting with a story.
