Celtic Harp - About the Instrument

The Celtic harp is a hook-based instrument. It differs from the pedal harp and chromatic harp not only in the number of strings. The hooks allow for playing each string a half tone higher. The most common Celtic harps have a starting tuning of c-minor or Es-major (in this case all hooks are lowered).
